Here at EVOLVE we recognize and actively work on reducing the impact we may cause on our natural resources. By certifying our floors, we ensure that our products are following the most rigorous standards, promoting healthy environments and air quality for you and your family. Take a look at our current certifications below.
All EVOLVE flooring products are FloorScore® certified.
FloorScore® is the most recognized indoor air quality (IAQ) certification standard for hard surface flooring materials, adhesives, and underlayments. FloorScore® certified products qualify for many green building schemes including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, and CHPS.
All EVOLVE Laminates meet or exceed CARB2 requirements.
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) implemented standards to improve indoor air quality by tightening limits for formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products. In 2012, the CARB formaldehyde standard was made even more stringent – lowering the limit to 0.05 parts per million. This enhanced phase is often referred to as CARB 2. CARB Compliance requires third-party testing.
Under the Lacey Act, it is unlawful to import, export, sell, acquire, or purchase fish, wildlife or plants that are taken, possessed, transported, or sold: 1) in violation of U.S. or Indian law, or 2) in interstate or foreign commerce involving any fish, wildlife, or plants taken possessed or sold in violation of State or foreign law. In 2008, the Lacey Act was amended to include a wider variety of prohibited plants and plant products, including products made from illegally logged woods, for import.
